Brief Description
I love this especially at Christmas time when you get some amazingly juicy strawberries.
This is the best dessert if you want to avoid the guilt feeling or have something that isn't rich. It is a great dessert that cater to all guests from those doing Paleo to gluten or dairy free. It is sugar free using Natvia or you can use healthier refined sugar free options like rice malt syrup, real maple syrup or honey. Just sweeten to taste.
If you want to add a fun spin on it then you can add sugar free chocolate drops of dark chocolate pieces for your 'strawberries and chocolate fix'
Bon Appetite!

Directions
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees.
Use a tart or quiche dish about 25-30cms in diameter or if less just means your tart will be slightly deeper. Grease lightly with oil or butter to prevent egg from sticking.
Slice strawberries in half.
Beat the eggs together well with the almond milk, vanilla essence, baking powder, cinnamon, Natvia in a large bowl. Stir in the almond meal and if you like coconut you can add 1/4 cup desiccated coconut.
Pour mixture into dish then place strawberries around. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and place in oven for 25-30mins. Until golden on top or cooked through.
Serve warm or cold as is or with a dollop of yoghurt or home made custard.
