Muesli Bar

Brief Description

This muesli bar has everything in that can enhance your health from the magnesium and omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids in the nuts and seeds to the fiber in the oats and buckwheat. They are also high in protein so great for any vegetarian or vegan. These bars are low sugar and are a great breakfast, or pre /post workout food.

Directions

Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees and line a shallow square brownie type tray with baking paper.
Mix well in a large bowl, all dry ingredients together including the peanut butter (best to get your hands dirty rub into other ingredients). 
Pour in the liquid and mix well for a good minute or two so that the oats become sticky and bind the ingredients together. If you don't add enough water, the slice won't hold together once baked.

Press the mixture firmly into the baking tray and flatten well, taking note of the edges.
Place in the oven and bake for around 20mins until the edges are golden. Take out and let cool.
Melt the chocolate and drizzle over the bar, let cool. 
Slice the bars into 5cm by 2.5 cm pieces and you should get around 14 bars.
